The SFA Lumberjacks were looking for a win i their home finale of the season when they took on TCU out of the Big12.
It was a rough start for the 'Jacks as they gave up a run in the first and second inning. In their half of the first, SFA had the bases loaded but could not score.
In the second inning, they found a way to get two runs across the plate.
SFA took the lead in the 4th on a wild pitch. TCU tied it right back up in the 5th with a home run. A homer in the 6th inning put TCU up by one. SFA came right back in the 7th and tied it up.
The 9th inning made all the difference as TCU loaded the basses and capitalized on bringing 4 runners home. TCU was able to survive a trip to the Pineywoods and walk away with a 8-4 win. SFA wraps up the season on the road in Houston this weekend as they take on the Huskies of HBU.
