ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The lunch time traffic in Angelina County seemed a bit more centralized Thursday at the Love's Truck Stop, off of Highway 59.
The gas station is connected to a brand new Arby's, a restaurant that has been absent from the area for many years.
The line at the brand new Arby's location was out to door, but that didn't even compare to the drive-thru line.
The grand opening of the fast food restaurant Thursday attracted quite a few, with some customers reporting hour long waits for food.
But, one customer said she didn't mind the line.
"I'm so excited," said customer, Bryanna Byrd. "I absolutely love Arby's. I hated it when they closed down in Lufkin. And, so, anytime we go out of town, my family knows that we have to stop at Arby's because I buy like ten or twelve sandwiches to bring back home. So, knowing that it was opening today, my sweet kindergarten team came here to enjoy it."
The truck stop boasts 92 truck parking places, most of which were full, Thursday.
