SHELBY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office is  asking for the public's help to find a woman who has evaded them once again.

Brittany Barber, 30, of Joaquin is wanted by the SCSO for a misdemeanor warrant for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

According to the office, Barber is described as a white female, 5'4" and weighs approximately 120 lbs. She has black hair and hazel eyes.

This is not the first time that Barber has been wanted by the Sheriff's Office. Earlier in the month, the office asked for the public's assistance in locating her when she was wanted for outstanding felony warrants.

She was arrested on May 4 and booked into the Shelby County jail for possession of controlled substance and abandoning or endangering a child. Barber was released after she posted bail on a collective bond amount of $25,000.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office urges anyone who has information regarding Barber's locations to contact the office at (936) 598-5601.
