CROCKETT, TX (KTRE) - The Crockett Police Department is still awaiting the toxicology reports for a 34-year-old Lovelady man whose body was found in a creek on June 22.

Chief David Cross with the Crockett Police Department said there were no signs of foul play found during the investigation or during the autopsy.

"We are still awaiting the toxicology results from the medical examiner in Dallas," Cross said. It usually takes about six weeks to get those results. There were no internal or external signs of trauma found during the autopsy, so the tox results will be important."

The man has been identified as Steven Kron. Cross said that Kron, who was last seen alive on June 18, was found in a creek bed at the corner of San Jacinto and Gordon Street.
