LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A flash flood warning is in effect for parts of Deep East Texas Tuesday morning and several roads are flooded.
According to the National Weather Service in Shreveport, a flash flood warning is in effect for Angelina County, Southeastern Nacogdoches County, and Southwestern San Augustine County until 10 a.m. Tuesday.
High water locations are being reported on various roadways in and around Lufkin.
According to TxDOT, vehicles were stranded in high water on the Frank Street underpass earlier this morning.
The traffic lights are reportedly flashing red at several Lufkin intersections. Treat those as 4-way stops.
