TYLER COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - An 11-year-old boy suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle rollover wreck that occurred in Tyler County Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the three people in the SUV involved in the wreck ranged in age from 11 to 13.
The crash occurred about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday on County Road 3000 near the Tyler County Sheriff's Office.
According to a preliminary DPS crash report, the driver was traveling south on County Road 3000 in a 2014 Dodge SUV when they lost control of the vehicle; the SUV traveled off the road and rolled several times.
The 11-year-old boy was ejected from the vehicle and seriously injured, DPS says. He was flown to an area trauma center.
The driver and other two passengers in the vehicle were not injured in the crash.
Officials say the crash remains under investigation.
