NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - East Texas is a few weeks into the school year, and doctors said students might not be the only one suffering from stress.
A recent study shows that the new back-to-school routine could cause some serious stress and anxiety for parents as well.
If you've been having those stressful feelings, experts said it's not uncommon.
A clinical coordinator at Burke said remaining stress-free could be hard, but there are ways to reduce or maintain your stress.
"I always tell parents they have to take care of themselves to be able to take care of those they care about," said Crystal Odoms, a clinical coordinator.
Odoms said planning ahead the night before could also help with the overwhelming stress.
