Water Usage Is Back To Normal

by Ramonica R. Jones

Work crews are still cleaning up downed trees and debris now littering East Texas roadways.

If you have debris around your home, you don't have to call anyone to come and get it. All you have to do is put it on the curb outside your house and city crews will pick it up and recycle it.

Remember, burning debris is against the law.

Also, Lufkin residents are no longer being asked to limit their water usage. Eight water wells in Lufkin were up and working throughout the night.

Local industries that use a lot of water will return to their normal operations Tuesday.

For several days, a water conservation request was in place for Lufkin water users in case of fire danger from downed power lines and other storm damage.
