City Has A Timeline For Debris Collection

Fallen trees, limbs, and other storm debris is still common across East Texas, but Lufkin city leaders say it won't be much longer before it's all gone.

It'll be about two to four more weeks before work crews can have all the debris picked up.

Fallen trees should be cut up before being set by the curb. You should also put fallen limbs out on the street for pickup. Leaves should be bagged and set out on the curb as well.

This is only for storm debris inside the Lufkin city limits. Workers are making the rounds everyday looking for piles of debris.
