Authorities Say Man Failed To Yield In Deadly Wreck

Authorities have released the identity of a three-year-old boy killed Tuesday night in a car wreck in Lufkin.

Jesse Ochoa died after his father crashed into another vehicle near downtown. Twenty-year-old Fernando Ochoa of Lufkin hit 16-year-old Jalenski Hewitt, also of Lufkin.

Hewitt reportedly failed to yield the right of way. Investigators say he stopped at a stop sign but pulled out in front of Ochoa.
