The flu vaccine is available for the discounted rate of $15.00 per person/per shot (children under age 8 receiving flu vaccine for the first time should receive 2 doses) if you have Medicare, please bring your Medicare card with you and we’ll bill Medicare; there will be no out-of-pocket expense to you. You will need to fill out and sign a vaccine consent form. Women who are pregnant and in their first trimester will not be given the vaccine. We give only the immunization that contains the “inactivated” (or “dead”) virus – the vaccine does not give you the flu!
Special notes concerning children ages 6 months to 18 years we only provide the vaccine in the form of a shot. Children ages 6 months to 8 years who are receiving the flu vaccine for the first time will need a second dose of the vaccine at least 4 weeks after receiving the first dose. A parent or guardian must accompany and consent for any child under age 18.
