Search teams with the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children called off their search Saturday after finding the body of a missing 22 month old near Nacogdoches. After search teams combed a wooded area off of Press Road in Nacogdoches county for just under two hours, a family's worst fears became reality.

Authorities found little 22 month old Harold Cheyenne Harris on private property.

"Those dogs started their search about nine today and roughly about 10:30 we did make a find... we have recovered Harold's body." said Nacogdoches Sheriff Thomas Kerss.

Authorities say they don't know what happen to the infant because the body was so badly decomposed.  Sheriff Kerss who has been in law enforcement for 25 years says no matter how long you've been on the job, you can never prepare for something like this.

"Anytime you deal with a a case where someone has loss their life that's a tragedy.  You have a job to do, you focus on the job but you feel remorse and grieve... sad occassion for us."

Though sad, they continue to search for Harold's mother and stepfather.

"We have both outstand felony warrants for both the mother and the stepfather. Those warrants remain in effect and our latest indication is they may be in Mexico or may have crossed back into the United States."

If you know the whereabouts of McEntire or Yates, please contact your local authorites. Investigators are awaiting an autopsy to answer what happened to the little boy.
