Students Learn Unforgettable Lessons In Conservation

Some East Texas students learned a few unforgettable lessons Tuesday about wildlife and conservation.

The kids got a visit from Lucas Miller, a singing zoologist. Miller used wacky hats, a guitar, and playful puppets to teach students about wetlands, endangered species, and animal defenses.

Miller is a singer, songwriter, and author. He was also named Best New Artist for Older Children in 2001. His innovative and interactive songs for children focus on nature-related topics for kids of all ages.
