Out Of Flu Vaccine

The Angelina County and Cities Health District ran out of the flu vaccine Monday morning. Between 100 and 150 flu vaccines were given out.

Health officials are expecting to get more vaccine, but they do not know how much or when. They are receiving the vaccine in allotments to help prevent a vaccine shortage in the state. So far, they have received about 25% of their vaccine order.

Counting Thursday and Monday, the health district administered about 700 flu shots.
