You will be asked to write nine reasons why your family should receive the prize package. You must also submit a photo of your family. (Any photo of your entire family will do; it need not be a professional photo.)  Be sure to read the official contest rules carefully and completely.

Then, a panel of representatives from KTRE-TV and our sponsors will choose nine finalists to go on to the next phase of the contest. These finalists will have their family photo and nine reasons posted on the Deck The Halls contest page at ktre.com.

Voting will begin on December 7, 2005 and end at 5:00 p.m. on December 22, 2005. Voting will be done online at ktre.com only, via an e-mail form. A separate e-mail form will be available on each finalist’s page. Choose the entry you believe has the best reasons to win and cast your vote! Voters will be permitted to vote once per day. Complete voting rules will be posted on the Deck The Halls contest page when the voting phase begins.

Votes will be counted on the morning of December 23, 2005. The entry with the highest number of votes will be declared the winner and notified by phone. If the winner is available, the prizes will be awarded on December 23, 2005 – just in time for Christmas!
