Authorities have caught up with a Cherokee County business owner who'd been missing for several weeks.
Sheriff's deputies got a tip Saturday that Mazi Bul Haque would be arriving at the Dallas/Fort Worth airport. That's where they arrested him and took him to the Cherokee County Jail.
Haque had been missing since the end of October when he closed up his store and left town with $16,000 he was supposed to deposit in the bank.
Haque is charged with two counts of felony theft by check for writing bad checks to another merchant. His bond is set at $20,000.
