State Representative Jim McReynolds Running for Re-election

State Representative Jim McReynolds is running for re-election. McReynolds has announced that he will run for another term.

First elected in 1996, McReynolds is the longest-serving member of the East Texas delegation. He works hard to find answers to health and education issues.

McReynolds said, "My wife has put me on loan for my constituents for two more years. As you know, I'm an educator, and we have got a lot of things hanging out there, and I'm not going to leave Texas at this point. It is not quite time to head to the rocking chair."

McReynolds would represent House District 12, which includes Angelina, San Jacinto, Trinity, and Tyler counties.
