Deck The Halls Voting Rules

      Voting in’s Deck The Halls contest begins Wednesday, December 7, 2005.

      Voting is limited to one vote per person per day AND one vote per e-mail address per day. This means that you can vote once every day of the week, but ONLY once each day. If two or more members of the same family wish to vote, each person will have to use a different valid e-mail address. To constitute a day, the entry must be received between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. of the particular day, as determined by the electronic date/time stamp in the e-mail header.

      Any votes that violate the “One Vote per Day Rule” will be deleted and not used in the final tally to determine the winner of the remodel. This means that multiple votes from the same e-mail address on the same day will be discarded. Likewise, multiple votes from the same person using different e-mail addresses will be discarded.

      All required fields on the vote forms must be filled out with correct information. Forms without valid names and addresses will be discarded and those votes will not count. Please be assured that the information you provide will not be sold under any circumstances, nor used for any other purpose than administration of this contest, unless you check the optional boxes to allow us to send you information about other promotions.

      Anyone may vote in this contest. Voters are not required to live inside KTRE-TV’s viewing area.

      The deadline for votes for this contest is December 22, 2005 at 5:00 p.m.

      KTRE-TV and sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, forged, mass-reproduced or mass-transmitted, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, or illegible votes, and such votes are void. KTRE-TV and sponsors are also not responsible telephone, electronic, hardware, software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties; errors or failures in transmission or reception; and any condition caused by events beyond the control of KTRE-TV which may cause the contest to be disrupted or corrupted.

      All entries generated by mass e-mailer programs will be disqualified.

      KTRE, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the voting process, the operation of the Web site, or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify any game not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, or technical failures of any sort.
