A 17-year-old boy who once frequently visited the Nacogdoches Boys and Girls Club has been indicted for sexual assault. Frezell Childress is accused of going to the Boys and Girls Club last July and enticing a mentally challenged 16-year-old girl to have sex with him.
The Boys and Girls Club had Childress kicked out of the club two years earlier, but he kept returning. The girl did not report the incident until she got home. District Attorney Stephanie Stephens says the girl is at the functioning level of an 8-year-old.
