A Lufkin park is getting a facelift. After several problems at the aging Chambers Park, East Texas organizations and businesses are coming together to makeover the park.
The facelift started Saturday morning with folks planting trees on the park grounds. "It's one of the oldest parks in Lufkin.
"A lot of people have been really excited about this project because they can remember coming here as children playing in the park," says Mary Jo Gorden.
