Voting Problems Resolved

Voting problems that Angelina County and other county's across the state have been facing are now resolved.

Election Administrator Bill Shanklin says for the most part everything is back on track. Voters have been able to vote with the corrected republican ballot, which accidentally left one candidate off. The democratic ballots were in Monday mid-morning.

Now, all they are waiting for is confirmation that the programs to run the electronic voting machine will arrive soon.

With everything up and running, they are just waiting for Angelina County residents to cast their votes. By 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, only 74 voters made it to the polls.
