Juvenile Detention Hearing

For now Gary Batchelor Jr. will continue to stay in juvenile detention. He's accused of being connected with the October murder of James Kelly Sr. in Cushing. Batchelor had his juvenile detention hearing Wednesday afternoon.

The district attorney wants him certified as an adult in the murder for hire case. That proceeding is scheduled for March 23rd.

Six people are accused of being part of a plot to kill Kelly. He was shot to death while he was sleeping in his Cushing home.
