Safety Council Gets Lesson in Weather

Members of Angelina County's Safety Council received a lesson in weather today.

Chief Meteorologist Conley Isom talked to a group of members about how to best get the message out to viewers when severe weather hits. Every month, the safety council members meet to talk about bettering the work place environment, and finding ways to make it safer for employees. The day's message was about staying safe during severe weather.

The group is made up of employees from various companies including Pilgrim's Pride, Brookshire Brothers, Georgia-Pacific, and much more. It is just a way for businesses to be able to collaborate on ideas and help one another.
