Spring Break Safety

It i that time of year again, when many college and high school students will be out of school for spring break.

Spring break can mean lots of partying and drinking. Girls, especially, are being urged to be careful. Statistics show that 83% of college women said spring break involves heavier-than-usual drinking and even increased sexual activity.

Janet Taylor, with the Chamber Coalition for a Better Community, said that it doesn't take girls as much alcohol before the begin feeling the affects.

Drug-free advocates encourage you to be responsible. If you decide to drink, make sure you have a designated driver.
