Bomb Threat at Wal-Mart Evacuates Store

Lufkin police are investigating an incident at Wal-mart in Lufkin where an employee received a phone call about a bomb threat.

The store was evacuated about 9:30 a.m. Monday morning for about 45 minutes. That is when a Lufkin police team and store managers inspected the store, but could not find any signs of a bomb. An employee received the phone call stating that a bomb was left at the store.

Police are following a few leads.
