Nacogdoches Business Owner Accepts Plea Bargain

A Nacogdoches business owner indicted on federal firearms violations has accepted a plea bargain.

Don Beck has pleaded guilty to the possession of an unregistered weapon. But, according to his attorney five counts of the sale of a firearm to a felon have been dismissed. Beck could face up to ten years in prison. But, because he has no prior criminal record, he could receive a lesser sentence.

Back in December, search warrants were executed at Beck's residence and the 59 Motel in Nacogdoches where several firearms were seized.
