Texas Wesleyan 67, Oklahoma City 65

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Ben Hunt (former SFA Lumberjack) hit a 25-footer with less than

three seconds left to give unseeded Texas Wesleyan a 67-to-65 win

over Oklahoma City tonight in the final of the N-A-I-A Tournament.

Hunt finished with a career-high 34 points for Texas Wesleyan

(25-9), while Evan Patterson added 14 points and was named the

tournament M-V-P.

Rory Green hit the first of two free throws with six-point-eight

seconds remaining to put Oklahoma City ahead 65-to-64. But Green

missed his second attempt and Hunt grabbed the rebound, then

hustled down the court and fired the game-winning three-pointer

from the right wing.

Seventh-seeded Oklahoma City was unable to get off a shot in the

remaining two-point-two seconds.

Dawud Drew led Oklahoma City (29-8) with 19 points.
