Lufkin High School Class Receives Sixteen Blue Ribbons

The Lufkin High School printing class brought home 16 blue ribbons in a state competition.

David Collins, a senior, won "Best in Show" for a printing design with an eagle and an American flag. The class will now print several thousand "United We Stand" cards to send over to the troops in Iraq.

Now, the class is working on a community service project. They practiced washing windows, because the rest of the week they will be washing windows at downtown businesses in Lufkin. The window washing project is designed to be a way for the students to give back to the community.
