Accused Bank Robber Extradited to East Texas

A woman accused of taking part in an East Texas bank robbery in April has been extradited back to Houston County.

Thirty-seven year-old Dana Lawson is charged with aggravated robbery. Lawson and James Valentinis-Dee are suspected of robbing the Prosperity Bank in Crockett. They were caught a couple weeks later near Conroe in a stolen car. Police linked them to the crime through fingerprints found on a note handed to a teller during the robbery.

Lawson's bond is set at $50,000. Valentinis-Dee is still being held in the Harris County jail on bank robbery charges out of Kingwood.
