Another Resignation At SFA

Last week SFA President Dr. Tito Guerrero announced his resignation.   Now it's followed by a resignation announcement by one of his vice presidents. Vice President of University Advancement Dr. Jerry Holbert will leave at the end of June. Holbert tells the East Texas News, "That it's bizarre what's happening at SFA."

Holbert is the third vice president to resign in a year. Another is a finalist at a different university. Governor appointed SFA regents are being blamed for micro management. A spokesman with Governor's office said the Governor, "Has full confidence in the board and believes they have the ability to lead the university in the right direction."
