EEK Week

by Jessica Cervantez

Some East Texas students are getting a lesson about the natural environment and history of the piney woods.

It is all part of the environmental education camp held by the Texas Forestry Museum, known as "EEK camp".

The students paid a visit to Millard's Crossing in Nacogdoches to learn about the history of the village. Every place the kids tour from the piney woods conservation center to SFA will provide the kids with instruction, discussion, and hand on activities that are educational and fun.
