Some East Texas workers are feeling the heat. It is only June, but temperatures have been in the upper 90's for a while now.
The hot weather makes it uncomfortable for construction workers and anyone else working outdoors. To keep cool and hydrated workers are making sure they drink plenty of water.
Jeff Cox, a construction worker, said, "If you are not cool, it will get to you. You got to stay plenty hydrated, and drink plenty of water and watch yourself."
Richard Motto, who installs air conditions, said, "Lots of water, lots of water, stay in the shade, get a breeze if you can, that's the best way to do it, so that you stay cool."
