East Texas Woman Pleaded Guilty to Assault

An East Texas woman involved in a shoot-out with Huntington police last year has pleaded guilty.

Sabrina Canda is the last of three suspects in the case to go before a judge. Canda, along with Steven Wilson and Tanner Hole, shot at an officer who tried to perform a routine traffic stop on Highway 69 back in August. The three refused to stop and led authorities on a chase through town.

Canda now has to wait for a pre-sentence investigation before she is punished. She could get up to 99 years in prison.

Wilson was sentenced to 35 years behind bars. Hole received a 25-year sentence.
