Suspected Recall Confirmed After 7 On Your Side Report

  Recently a 7 On Your Side investigation revealed a national recall was in store for a particular lawnmower, and now it's official. The CPSC is recalling several Craftsman ride-on lawn tractors, including the one we featured on 7 On Your Side on June 28. It was model number 917.27664. There were more than 800 reports of fuel lines that separated from the fuel tank and 16 reports of fire related to this issue. The consumer 7 On Your Side interviewed last month is from Upshur County when his Craftsman mower caught fire while he was using it. Ron Tutor suffered minor injuries. There are several other mowers and model numbers included in this recall. Click here to see the complete list.
