Central Residents No Longer Have to Conserve Water

by Ramonica R. Jones

Central and Idlewood residents are no longer being asked to conserve water. A broken motor in Well 3 has been replaced with a new one.

The trouble started when a transformer in the well off FM 2021 blew late Wednesday night. That caused about 2,000 residents to have low water pressure.

Central water officials are now leasing a motor from a Houston-area company while their motor is being fixed. Everything was up and running again just before 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
