A patriotic family gathered this week to welcome home a warrior and to celebrate his marriage. It's thousands of miles from Iraq to the little chapel at Roseland Plantation and it's a journey that Jeremy Johnson wasn't always sure he'd be able to make. As a designated marksman in the 82nd Airborne, Johnson was in constant danger during his two tours of duty in Iraq.
Johnson's family is a patriotic one: both grandfathers fought in World War Two and his grandmother was in the Waves. He says this family heritage influenced him to join the service.
It was a happy day for Johnson's entire family. He's back home safe and sound and he's marrying Heather Ancell, in a celebration of love, family and country.
