Students Attend Forestry Youth Camp

Some East Texas kids are now better informed about the world around them. They are spending time at the Forestry Youth Camp in Lufkin.

They've spent the week making paper and learning about different seeds and tree planting techniques.

The camp is a new summer program at the Texas Forestry Museum. The students are learning many hands-on environment-friendly lessons that'll last a lifetime.

Guest speakers are also teaching the kids about mapping and identifying wildlife.
