Webb County has been reunited into one congressional district. The reunion comes after a three-judge federal panel decision.
The U-S Supreme Court had ordered redrawing District 23. The high court had said the redistricting unfairly diluted Hispanic voting strength.
Five Texas congressional districts are affected by the revision--15, 21, 23, 25 and 28. Under the new map, all incumbents will remain and run in their current districts. The redrawn seats are now open to anyone who wants to run.
