KTRE Weather Alerts on TV

When the National Weather Service issues a severe weather watch or warning, you will immediately see that watch or warning message "crawl" across the bottom of your television while you are watching KTRE ABC 9.

During a watch or warning, you will also see a county map of the KTRE viewing area.  Individual counties that are under the weather alert are highlighted. 

Below, you will find the county map that we use during a weather alert.  Learn your county's shape and location on the map, so you will know how to identify your county if a watch or warning is issued.
