Cleaning Up a Mobile Meth Lab is Costly

An East Texas couple charged with traveling in a mobile meth lab won't be getting out of jail any time soon. Corey Mullan and Kristie Allsbrooks both have charges in other counties.

Police arrested the couple last week in the parking lot of a Lufkin pharmacy after getting a suspicious person call. After searching the couple's pickup, investigators found the makings of a meth lab inside. Those items included flammable liquids, corrosive, and acidic chemicals.

It cost a federally approved contractor about $5,000 to clean up the explosive chemicals.
