Delta State Shocks S.F.A.

The S.F.A. Lumberjacks blew a seven point halftime lead to division two Delta State on Saturday night.  Delta State kicked a game winning field goal with under one minute to go to win 17 to 14.  It's the first time the 'Jacks have lost to a division two opponent since 1990.

S.F.A. scored the only touchdown of the first half thanks to a 15 yard run by Jerome Brooks.  But two Scott Eyster touchdown passes to Eric Marshall in the third quarter gave the Statesmen a seven point lead.  S.F.A. tied the game in the 4th on a Danny Southall touchdown run.

S.F.A. heads to Arizona next Saturday.
