Proud Of East Texas: Dr. Herb Marlow

Dr. Herb Marlow has written 23 fiction books for children and young adults, as well as a number of books on parenting. The material for his books comes from Marlow's experiences as a teacher, pastor, counselor, and as he puts it "from being a kid at heart".

Marlow and his wife, Lynn, live on their ranch near Ben Wheeler. While Marlow's first books were based on his childhood in Iowa, most of his books have settings in Texas since his move here 30 years ago.
