Strengthening Families Through Child's Play

by Jessica Cervantez

The Mosaic Center is partnering up with several other organizations to host a seminar called "Strengthening Families Thru Child's Play."

It is designed to help parents, grandparents, counselors, and teachers help strengthen the family unit. Organizers say a lot of the problem is the lack of communication because of d-v-d's, radios, and computers.

Phyllis Grander, of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council, said, "To strengthen the family is critical, because we are losing the ability to communicate as we become more technologically involved."

The seminar will be held Monday, September 25th from 8:30 a.m. from 4:30 p.m.
