Suspects Wanted in Violent Robbery Attempt

by Ramonica R. Jones

Trinity police are looking for several suspects wanted in connection with a violent robbery attempt Tuesday.

At least four men were waiting for 38-year-old Banard Murray when he returned home Tuesday afternoon. They tied Murray up and demanded money. A fight broke out and one of the men shot Murray. He was treated at a hospital and released.

The men didn't get any money from Murray, but stole his pickup truck and drove to Huntsville. That's where a constable spotted them and chased them into an apartment complex before they ran off.

All four of the suspects are black. One of them is described as a thin guy with a receding hairline who's about 5'10" inches tall. If you know who or where they are, call the Trinity Police Department at (936) 594-2505.
