Teens Arrested in Lufkin Murder

A Lufkin man is dead after being shot to death Thursday night. The shooting happened on Randolph Street. When police got there, they found 39-year-old Tony Hutson lying in a yard. He died from a gunshot wound.

Investigators said Hutson and his brother were walking down Ellis Street Thursday night and started fighting with two teenagers. The teens got into a car and fired a shot at them. That bullet hit Hutson in the torso.

Police arrested 17-year-old Kendall Adams of Lufkin and charged him with murder. A 16-year-old boy is also in custody at the juvenile detention center in Angelina County.
