The S.F.A. Lumberjacks gave 50 thousand plus Arizona fans a bit of a scare on Saturday night. S.F.A. trailed the Wildcats by just four points in the 4th quarter. That's when the upset bid fell apart. Two Arizona touchdowns in the final 15 minutes was too much for S.F.A. to overcome. The Jacks fell to 0 and 3 after a 28 to 10 loss.
S.F.A. led in the second quarter thanks to a touchdown run by Louie Runnels. "I thought the kids played hard," Jacks Head Coach Robert McFarland said. "The deck was stacked against us talent wise."
