Teens Arrested in Lufkin Murder

Two Lufkin teenagers are locked up accused of murdering a man last week. The victim was shot while walking down a Lufkin street.

Seventeen year old Kendall Adams is in jail. His bond is a hundred thousand dollars.

A juvenile detention hearing was held last week for a second suspect. The 16-year-old boy remains in custody. A judge will review his case in a week or so to determine if he should remain in custody or be released to his parents.

Investigators said the boys shot 39-year-old Tony Hutson to death last Thursday night.

Hutson and his brother were walking down Ellis Street and apparently started fighting with the two teenagers. The men walked away, but the two teens got into a car and fired a shot at them. That bullet hit Hutson in the torso.
