Lufkin native Reggie McNeal has been promoted to the Cincinnati Bengals active roster.
McNeal was a sixth round pick by the Bengals, but was cut and later signed to the practice squad.
Cincinnati sustained several injuries in their week two win over the Browns.
The team may also promote Hemphill native Ben Wilkerson. We'll have more details on East Texas Sports at six.
We first learned about this early this afternoon from McNeal's father Rickey. He told us he will be flying to Pittsburgh this weekend to see Reggie suit up and hopefully play against the defending Super Bowl champion Steelers.
