About sixty teachers, counselors, and family members learned how to play.
It is all apart of a seminar called "Strengthening Families Through Child's Play." The seminar teaches adults to communicate with children better by engaging in their activities. Counselors say it will help mold a child and you will be able to better understand their needs.
Dr. Emily Oe, who is a licensed clinical professional counselor, said, "To children it is never just play. They are always dealing with the issues in their life, whether it is mastery, social skills, or just creativity. They are working out all kinds of issues that are going on, so it's never just play."
