Nacogdoches Police Report - 10/25/06

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 103 MLK Blvd. Unknown suspect entered the taco stand by breaking a back window. A quantity of food items was taken.

ASSAULT: 900 block of Hayward Street. A female victim was assaulted by a known suspect during a disturbance. A warrant was requested.

THEFT: 4810 North Street (Wal-Mart) two suspects were detained by Wal-Mart loss prevention for shoplifting. Morietta Hamilton and Ever Hamilton were arrested.

DWI: 1000 block of South Street. Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Officer found the driver to be intoxicated. Gerardo Castro was arrested.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 900 block of West Main. Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Officer noticed the driver was nervous and asked why. The driver stated because he had some marijuana under the seat. Officer located approximately ¾ pound of suspected marijuana under the seat. Jeffrey Gates was arrested.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 300 block of Houston Street. Unknown suspect broke out a back window to gain entry to residence. Suspect then removed a small safe containing cash. Investigation underway.
